The Kylie Minogue and Coldplay duet is finally getting a release for World AIDS Day. The track Lhuna will be released tomorrow exclusively at new music site (Red)Wire which has been created by Bono to raise awareness and money for The Global Fund. The website will be launched tomorrow here.

Madonna, So Close Yet So Far...

Tour promoter Michael Coppel has confirmed that Madonna had agreed to bring her Sticky and Sweet tour to Australia and the dates had been finalised, but she had to back out due to the economy. "Madonna was coming to Australia, the dates were resolved, but then economics got in the way" he said. Tickets were due to go on sale in two weeks with the most expensive being $400. Green Day, Paul McCartney, The Eagles and Metallica have also put visits on hold.

Lykke Li Is Coming Too!

One of our favourite Swedes (there are a few) Lykke Li is coming out for Falls Festival and is also doing a couple of side gigs. She is playing at The Prince Bandroom in Melbourne on January 4 and Sydney’s The Oxford Art Factory on January 5.

The Ting Tings are in Australia for 2009's Big Day Out and the good news is they are doing a couple of side club gigs. They are playing Sydney's Metro on Jan 20 and Melbourne's Prince Bandroom on Jan 28. Tickets go on sale Monday from the usual outlets.

Brit's Rolling Stone Cover

Kelly Clarkson’s new single from her forthcoming album is called My Life Would Suck (Without You) and goes to radio on January 13. The still untitled album will be released On March 17. She has been working on the album with Ryan Tedder who has said the songs will have "big choruses" and are influenced by Garbage. Rumoured tracks include Close Your Eyes, One Day, Ready and With a Little Bit of Luck. Kelly has said in interviews that the album will include a sequel to My December fan favourite Irvine called I Finally Got It Right.

Nat Bass

It has been confirmed that the next Natalie Bassingthwaighte single is called Someday Soon and will be released on January 12. Her debut solo album 1000 Stars will follow in February. Other confirmed tracks on the album are Catch Me If You Can, In His Eyes and Feel The Flow. She has worked overseas with some big names including Paul Barry (Cher, Tina Turner), Steve Anderson (Kylie Minogue) and Jimmy Harry (Pink, Britney Spears).

We're confused, we thought Janet cancelled her tour? It has just been announced that she is taking her Rock Witchu tour to Japan and word is she will hit Australian shores after that. She is playing five shows in Japan in February.
