The Killers have taken a break from their hiatus to release another Christmas single Boots. The song is released on November 30 and all proceeds got to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa. This is the fifth consecutive Christmas single from the band.

Pet Shop Boys new single artwork

Mark Farrow, the invisible 3rd member of Pet Shop Boys, has unveiled his new artwork for the Together single which gets its first airplay on BBC Radio 2 this Friday (October 22). Florence Between Two Lungs

On November 15 Florence + the Machine will release a deluxe version of Lungs called Between Two Lungs. The album will have a second disc with ten tracks including the Twilight soundtrack song Heavy In Your Arms , the Dizzee Rascal collaboration You Got the Dirtee Love and live tracks and remixes.

Here Lies Love

How did we miss this one? Earlier this year David Byrne and Fatboy Slim teamed up to release Here Lies Love, a concept album about Imelda Marcos and her relationship with her nanny Estrella Cumpas. Sounds bizzare but strangely works really well. The list of singers on the album is like a who's who of Disko Dollies: Cyndi Lauper, Tori Amos, Sia, Roisin Murphy, Florence Welch, Santigold, Martha Wainwright, Kate Pierson - the list goes on. Tori and Cyndi get together to duet on Why Don't You Love Me which is crying out for a dance mix for the clubs. Click here to listen to clips.

Certainly sounds more cohesive than X (not that that would be difficult), and we have to wonder why All The Lovers was chosen as lead single (buzz single maybe?). Standouts at this stage seem to be Get Outta My Way and Too Much. Looks like old school Kylie may be back - hooray!
