Róisín News!

It has been revealed that Róisín Murphy’s next single Movie Star will in fact be a double A-side with a cover of ace Brian Ferry track Slave to Love (check out Brian's version here). Her version of Slave is going to be used in Gucci ad campaign for a new men’s fragrance. Róisín has also said that she is heading back in to the studio with her two backing singers “to do like a little sort of girl group thing”. Sounds hot! A live DVD is going to be released in October.

Dannii and The Freemasons!

We thought now that Dannii was a famous TV Judge we wouldn’t be getting any new material ever again. Wrong! She has confirmed that she is working on material for a new album for release next year and GOOD NEWS EVERYONE The Freemasons have said they have “sent stuff to Dannii”. Dannii + Freemasons = Pop Heaven. We are already excited by this prospect, bring it on. There is also talk of a duet with sister Kylie for a television special and possible single release.

Shut Up and Let Me Go

The Ting Tings new single Shut Up and Let Me Go hits shops in the UK this week (it's already top ten on downloads), and it comes with a Haji & Emanuel remix. The video is quite good indeed and can be viewed by clicking here.
